It was so beautiful at sunset, I thought I would share some pics I took.
We got to the beach around 5:00pm. The day had warmed up, and it was probably in the high 60's by now. You can see Palos Verdes Peninsula in the background, and though you can't see it here, Catalina is peeking out to the right of the peninsula.

Another view of the kids, with the pier behind them. A large portion of the pier burned down in '89, and that is the rebuilt section you see behind them. Nick said something to make the girls laugh in the first pic.

We ate at Tony's - there are two Tony's restaurants, the famous Old Tony's and this "New" Tony's. I like this one because the view is nicer, in my opinion. Dan might recognize this place.

This is the view we had from our table. There were people down there on the beach, and even playing in the waves (brrrr)

Kelly snapped this shot from the interior of the restaurant. The waitress said the view was really beautiful yesterday, when there were clouds.

View of the pier when we left the restaurant. It's now around 6:30 or so.

This is Redondo Beach and the Palos Verdes Peninsula as the lights are coming on.

As we were walking around, this seagull was nice enough to just stand there while I took a shot.

We had been watching this sailboat go back and forth in the water. This shot is taken with the San Gabriel Mtns in the background. Where they meet the water is where Malibu is located.

By now it had got quite chilly for us, and it was time for us to leave the fishermen and seagulls, and go back to our warm homes.
It was so beautiful yesterday, I just wanted to share.
