I can't remember, Disney sells sunscreen in the resort gift shops, don't they? Does anyone know about how much they sell it for? I am sure it is a premium price! Trying to find ways to lessen my liquids that have to be packed so we can hopefully just carry-on and not check any luggage.

They do, but if you have Amazon Prime, I'd order and have it delivered to the resort, along with any other liquids or perishables you may need.

I thought about that option too. We do have Amazon Prime, I am just not sure how to order it so the timing works out. I have never used Prime while traveling. I am sure I can figure it out, it can't to that difficult.

Their selection is going to be limited to companies with whom they have a contract, so it's possible that you might not find what you want if you need a particular item. Kind of like trying to get a Pepsi on Disney property...

Looking at my pictures from our trip last June, the gift shop at AoA had Coppertone Sport, Babies, and Kids (all SPF50). All three were available in lotion and spray. There was also Coppertone lip balm. Unfortunately, there are no prices on the shelf so I don't know what the price is. Personally, if that's the only thing you'd need from Amazon Prime, I'd just buy it at the gift shop as it will be much easier.

Good point. That will most likely be all that I need.

I bought it at the gift shops (all of the gift shops) because it wasn't worth paying extra for luggage: it came to more than my actual souvenir or booze bill:rotfl2:

But it really wasn't much more than what I'd spend at home at the drugstore, and they had the stuff I liked- that actually keeps me from burning, and a few different application options. It's hard to estimate how much you'll actually need, so I'd buy it as you go.

Thanks for the input! I hear you on the checked luggage fees...I would rather spend that money on booze too!!!

Prime Pantry also - order a week ahead. Prime, order 2 days ahead. Easy peasy.

Also Safeway delivers, and their prices are reasonable (in case you want things like other toiletries, bottled water, wine, beer, breakfast foods, milk, yogurt, etc...). I used them last trip, and their prices were much better than Garden Grocer.

If you're doing just carry ons, you could also add laundry pods! Boom, done!

Just an FYI,anything that goes through the Front Desk such as Amazon Prime is now subject to a $5.00 fee.:)

Safeway - delivers to the room. No fee (just did it). Prime Now does the same. Prime Pantry is a box so yeah may get the fee. I guess it's all about how much stuff you need to order. I've done 2 weeks in Hawaii with just small carry on bags, but stopped at Target that night (coming from the East Coast, I was shopping after being up for basically 24 hours, fun times but we go every other year now) and bought all our toiletries and breakfast stuff and snacks for our start, and of course wine and booze, 'cuz it's vacation.

I'd look at what you need. I'm picky about sunscreen. And if you need other toiletries! I ordered shampoo and conditioner last trip also - super cheap for decent stuff from Safeway. We were at a value resort but either way, we wanted enough for us.

I forgot ours, why I always think April is fine ....

Had a wide range in the POP gift shop so assume it's the same all over. I waited until the park, got a light spray on SPF 50 at Emporium (it's in the queue grab it stuff) for $12. Was happy to spray and not have it on my hands, easy in parks.

Looks like they have a good selection. I see the brands there that I normally use!!! Funny, I have never paid any attention to these items in the gift shops before. We usually drive, so this hasn't been an issue in the past. Thanks for the picture!

I'll have to look into Safeway...thanks!

If you need other items, I order from Garden Grocer. They have sun screen. I have ordered food and toiletry items.

And since all GG orders go through Bell Services/Luggage Assistance and not through the Front Desk, there won't be a $5.00 fee.

I usually grab a few travel size sunscreens before we go. Makes it through security and ties us over.

I have already purchased a few travel size, I was just worried it wouldn't be enough. Like you said, it could tie us over and I can buy more at the resort shop or in the parks if we need more.
