What is says on their website and planning books is that you are not allowed to use your own sunscreen and will be asked to shower it off and put on theirs. The reasoning is that is could poison the fish in the coral reef area.

The "sample" they give you is more than adequate for ~2 applications (once in the morning and another later in the afternoon).

I don't think they give you anymore but you can buy more at the gift shop

We went Dec 2008 and we are large people with pale skin. The body suit covers a good part of the body even the short sleeve shorts one we wore. Then the samples where more than enough for us. We only had to apply 1 time and we where there from 8-3pm. Now in Dec. the sun is not to hot or intense but the sunscreen was suprisingly really good. Normally in the Florida sun I burn within 15 min. We where barely pink at the end of the day.
