Sunrise vs Sunset Safari. Which should we do?

We are staying at ALK concierge for the last part of upcoming trip. We did the Sunrise Safari on our last trip and we're planning on doing it again. I am curious if we should be looking at the Sunset Safari instead. Anybody here have any thoughts.

There are some great threads on these boards about both; go ahead & do a search. I've heard wonderful things about the Sunset Safari (Wayanama ?). They are offered M, W, F only & each is limited to 8 individuals, so if you are interested, you should not delay in booking. It is more expensive than the Sunrise Safari - $150 per person vs. $50 per person, but the price includes some type of exclusive dinner at Jiko's (we've eaten dinner there - it's fabulous!).

I have only done the Sunset and it was worth every penny! Great tour, fantastic pix (especially the one they take at the end with the giraffes behind you!), nice sundowner drink and snacks at the end and the dinner is wonderful. The chef will come out and explain everything to you and you get a personalized menu. The wines were great and I believe one was only available for this tour. Very unique, personalized and relaxing--and of course a fantastic, much needed break from the kiddies! I have an ofoto album. Let me know if you'd like me to show you some pix.
