sunrise safari?

What exactly is this. I know you have to be staying concierge at AKL to do it but that is all I know. Could someone give me some details on it please. Thanks

Hi there ~ I have some photos of the sunrise safari on my website link below.

It is for concierge guests as you know, you depart the AKL very early about 7:00am and go over to Animal Kingdom when you transfer to the jeeps used on the kilimanjaro safari ride. You enter the park through the employees gates so you get to drive past some of the animal enclosures and specialized buildings.

This safari starts with your personal guide (who escorts you from the hotel) and lasts for about 45 minutes to an hour ~ you see all kinds of animals up close and personal as they are all just coming out for the day.

There are frequent stops for photos and you can ask questions.

After the safari you walk to the schoolroom at Tuskerhouse where you have a wonderful breakfast buffet.

After breakfast you are given a fastpass to the Kilimanjaro safari ride to do it the 'regular way" which has the story line about the poachers etc.. and lasts about 10 minutes.

It is 50.00 for adults and I think 25.00 for kids and you must also have admission to the park.

It is really a wonderful experience and worth every penny.

It's only on Tuesday and Saturday morning. Depending when the park opens, you either meet at 7:30 or 6:30 in the concierge lounge to begin.
