Sunrise Safari

I have an upcoming stay at AKV concierge level. What phone number do I call to book the Sunrise Safari?

There is a special trip planning department that handles these inquiries. I do not recall the specific number, but I am sure that DVC Member Services could give it to you or the main operator at AKL could connect you through. The sunrise Safari is a great program with an excellent breakfast. One of the best values around at WDW.

I have an upcoming stay at AKV concierge level. What phone number do I call to book the Sunrise Safari?

The Sunrise Safari can be booked at 180 days and does fill up. The concierge at AKL books it for guests and can also book dining reservations, golf, etc. for you.

I talked to a DVC cm about this recently as we were not contacted for our previous club level stays there...I initiated contact. She said they've changed the system recently and we should be contacted before the 180 day mark.

If you're within 180 days, I would contact them. The DIS filter seems to not allow the email address anymore so I won't try posting that. Perhaps call AKL and ask to be transferred. You will need your reservation # so they know you actually have a club level villa reserved. Or call MS and see if they can provide the email address or transfer you.

I could never get them on the phone but I've had good luck communicating with them via email:

For some reason a couple of spaces get inserted between the L and the D in "world" in the display of the (truncated) email address above. When you click on the link, the correct email address is displayed in the "To" field of the email message so it does work, it just looks odd as displayed above.

Be sure to include all your information in your email. I listed that it was a DVC stay (so they would know where to look for it), the reservation confirmation number, dates of stay, my email address and phone number. Sometimes they emailed back, other times they called me.

I asked this morning and the phone # for AKL is 407-938-3000. When they answer tell them you want to book the safari and they'll connect you to the right person. When I spoke with him, he said the system is set up to contact you at about 200 days out to remind you about booking, however, he also said that that feature is not currently working! Good luck!

It's best to email them to book sunrise safari. Make sure and provide several callback phone numbers where they can reach you to get your credit card information.
