Sunrise Safari vs. Grand Gathering Safari???

Does anyone know the difference between these two safaris??? I'm hoping the Grand Gathering one would be similar to the sunrise!! Is it just as good without the concierge room price?? The SS is just not fitting into our schedule no matter how hard I try!

Sunrise - AKL Concierge Guests, 7am
Grand Gathering - Group of 8 or more Disney Resort Guests, 5pm

In addition to the special safari, the Grand Gathering safari has a dinner component, music, animal experiences, and character greetings. It, however, is not as intimate as the sunrise safari. Sunrise safari is limited to 28 guests. Grand Gathering safari has more...the reviewer's safari had 36 guests...not sure what the limit is on that one....maybe ask the Grand Gatherings planner how many may attend total. The sunset safari offered by AKL concierge is very intimate...8 guests I think? It's way more expensive, though
