Sundown/dusk is a beautiful time to get photos...

I like the view from the MK railroad at sunset.

As for sunrise pics, when we went in mid-March, MK had AM EMH at 7am. Since the time change had just occurred, it was still dark at the park, and you could get sunrise pics then.

If you're visiting in the summer and plan early morning shots, have a plan for dealing with camera fog. It can really take some time to acclimate your camera to the humidity.

I got some cool early morning foggy shots of the castle one morning. (Fortunately from real fog though and not camera fog.)

ahhh camera fog! i have to keep remembering to get that camera on the balcony for a n hour before we leave the room! i always forget and then the humidity ruins the first hour of my day at the parks! lol

i'm almost afraid to take my big ol' slr out of its bag this trip with all the selfie stick talk going on. us slr users always seem to come up in the conversation eventually. lol i'm sure i'll get yelled at again in the a&e m&g cause my flash is messing up the photos guys flash and the pics he is taking that i don't even want. lol

but seriously, those early morning and dusk time of the day in disney just rock! get out and shoot!

I was able to get beautiful pictures of the Beast's castle in New Fantasy land yesterday at sunset. and of Cinderella Castle shortly after sunset.

Its called the Golden Hour for good reason.

You beat me to it. Got a wonderful shot from the walkway near Splash / Big Thunder / Tom Sawyers entrance looking over the water toward the castle just as the sun was hanging low.

EDITED TO ADD:

World Showcase Lagoon REALLY lends it's self to wonderful photography during that golden hour. Shoot across the Lagoon at ANYTHING, you almost can't go wrong! The closer it gets to dark, the more amazing and rich the colors appear.

I'll agree. Camera fog sucks!!!! I had minimal problems a few years ago, but this past year, I guess the AC was better in our rooms, lol... I had issues each morning and it took a while to clear up... I didn't know/think about putting the camera and gear on the balcony for some time in the morning while I lathered up in sunscreen for the morning park trek...

I always have a terry cloth, no scratch, towel in my bag, so wiping condensation off wasn't an issue though...

This is one of my absolute favorite sundown pictures... This was taken the night of the 2nd Halloween Party in Sept. 2014... This is the raw image... No enhancements.. just the watermark at the bottom...

Sometimes when u aren't used a sealed lens u can get condensation n the side of the lens too! That's qhy out on the balcony before heading out helps. This doesn't happen often but I was using a cheaper lens at nc this summer when surf fishing. I wasn't taking my l lens for my canon out there while all dirty while fishing so I took my cheaper body and lens. Totally fogged up on the inside of the lens. Sucked! I had to take a hair dryer to it carefully. This never happened with my other glass so be careful. Taking the camera out on the balcony out of ur bag really helps. a cloth never helped me. Even microfiber. The humidity from my hand while wiping seems to always make it worse.
