So reports are surfacing that Sundin is in negotiations with the HABS and that our #25 pick is on it's way to San Jose for Marleau's negotiating rights this could be a big signing summer for the HABS.

I love the habs and would be very disappointed to see Sundin come to the habs. I hate the leafs more then anything in the world and therefore hate all there players. Lets hope it does not happen

The guy on the radio I was listening to on the way home was very adamant that they Leafers had just given permission for the Habs and Sundin to talk, nothing more. I think he is in denial...:rotfl:

I think Mr Sundin is in the twilight of his career. Good for the leafs if they can trade him.:thumbsup2

Bad for the Canadiens stuck with a horse that should be out in the pasture.

HABS get Tanguay from Flames for #25 pick. I also hope we do not end up with Scumdin I have never been much of a fan of that big turd.

I'll really miss Sundin if he leaves the Leafs. He is a class act all the way.

That "horse that should be out in the pasture" would have been the Habs second leading scorer last year, and with only 8 points less than Kovalev :confused3
I know I wouldn't mind a team full of those horses!

Anyway, as much as Mats has been the leader here for 13 years now, I think now might be a good time to let him go. It will only help our chances of landing Tavares next year in the draft.

I like the Luke Schenn pick last night

Go Leafs Go!

Schenn was a great pick for any other team the Leafs are going to turn him into another McCabe an overpaid underachiever as is usually the case in Toronto.

With all the good nature ribbing that goes on here I would be happy if any Canadian team brought the cup home.

It would be especially nice if the Canucks, who have never won a cup, or the Leafs, most their fans weren't born the last time T.O, won, brought home Lord Stanley's gift.
