Are Sundays noticeably lighter than Saturdays for Food & Wine Festival? The last time I went was 2 years ago, on a Saturday, and while crowded, it was manageable. I'm looking specifically at Oct. 20 vs. the 21st. If we do the 21st we'll have to take off work on Monday to fly home, which I have no problem with, but if it will be just as crazy as Sat., I'll save that vacation day. TIA!

Sundays are typically less crowded than Saturdays. I will no longer go on a Saturday, but Sundays have been fine. The locals tend to not stay until park close on Sunday.

If Saturday is a rainy day, Sunday will probably be more crowded.

If you can, I would avoid Saturdays. Especially by mid afternoon, it was crazy. By 5 pm, there were lines at just about every kiosk.
Sunday must be better, (I would hope). This is why we do F&W during the week and skip the weekends. If that is an option for you, I would.

I had asked the same question previously and most posters responded with the same - Sundays are lighter than Saturdays. So for our upcoming trip, we decided to go Sun-Wed to avoid the crowds (and save a bit on those Fri and Sat nightly resort rates). The only thing slightly disappointing about our decision is that most of the unique seminars, events, or special meals that you can sign up for usually run on Saturdays only, so we missed out on being able to attend some of those. But we'll just save that money and use it somewhere else!

We are flying down from Ohio for just a quick weekend, so our only option is to go Sat or Sun, guess we will plan on Sunday!

for the most part Sundays are better than Saturdays. But if you can swing Monday-Thursday that's the time for it.
