We have always gone to MK on Sunday because of the lower attendance. We are planning a June trip and would like to know what effect EE at MK on Sunday has had.

Thanks.

We have been to MK on Sunday, but not since the re-intro of EE (aka EMH). The crowds seemed less than the other days. And in the past, people avoided the park with EE fearing crowds and then it turned out to be the least crowded. You should be fine on Sunday. Just be there at opening to get ful advantage of the park without crowds.

We are arriving at the world on a Sunday and will probably not get to MK till 1:00 pm or so should we worry about crowds? Being our honeymoon and my bride to be's first time to wdw I want her first impression to be MK. :smooth:

Mulgar, how many days are you staying? Might be best to hit MK first thing in the morning and for your first day go to Epcot or MGM for the afternoon

Thanks
Jason

We did a sunday ee day in March, and I found it very crowded by 11:30. Yes the first two hours were great, but after that, the crowd really built...however, we were down during spring break... we also did MK on a tues, and a wed, (we were there for 12 days) and I think I enjoyed those days more, but you have to know what you are doing with fast passes... I was fascinated by the fact that most people will not do fast passes, they would rather wait in a line for an hour..... we did snacks, those fast loading rides, and would come back and walk on with our fastpasses... what a great time we had....

We did MK on a Sunday in late February and found it quite crowded after 11:00 or so. It was much better later in the week on a non-EE day.

we will be at wdw for 5 full days and I understand it will be crowded but we will still do our first partail day at MK
We have ps at cindy's for dinner at 5:05
and then want to do fireworks and see the kiss goodnight.
We are willing to fight the crowds in exchange for thet first time experiance for her.

We are arriving on Saturday (06/07/03) with the first park day on Sunday. Given the feedback I might plan for either MGM or AK on Sunday. We are taking family for the first time and I think that it might be good to save MK for later and the last day of the trip.

Thanks for all of your advice.

I will watch for a set of groom and bridal ears. Congratulations in advance! Hope you have a great trip. We are taking my sister's family for their first visit. We are very excited to be there with them as they take in the magic for the first time.

tbee47: Where are you staying?

PO-Riverside. Hope you have a great time. I couldn't think of a better place to honeymoon.

We are going to try to have a great time.
Her first visit.
And my first time staying on property

I just did Sunday EE and the park was great. We got out of there around noon though because things were starting to fill. But we didn't wait for anything and only used FP on Splash. After Wed. I think EE Sunday is the best time to go.

We did MGM as our first park, it was our first trip as a family, my kids loved mgm. Hope you have a blast.
Mulgar, if you plan to arrive in the afternoon on sunday, I would not do MK unless there are fireworks and you go at 4pm for your meal then just plan on fireworks....in my humble opinion. It will more than likely be very, very crowded. I know that you will want it to be super special for your bride (what a great guy you are!), but if you review this board lots, you will find some great special ideas for that sunday night. An evening on the boardwalk with a great dinner at spoodles or the flying fish, renting a surrey bike there, enjoying the buskers, and walking over to epcot to take in illuminations.....that would be a wonderful evening. How about going to the animal kingdom and walking over to take in the lion king afternoon show then ambling up to africa, watch the acrobats do there thing then take in the 4pm parade (which , dont stone me on this one but I liked the ak parade much better than the magic kingdom's parade) then walk on to the safari ride, at 5pm leave the park, catch the bus to the animal kingdom lodge and have a super fantastic meal at Jiko. (I did this and man did it ever make a great, great half day in the park starting in the afternoon!!!!) You know, there are so many things you could do to make that evening so memorable....I have lots more ideas, and I bet a lot of the dis'ers on this board could come up with tons more....
All I can say is darn lucky bride......
and yes, I would have suggested the fireworks cruise but I think the window of time for ps has already come and gone unfortunately.
