Going to be in Disney from thanksgiving through 12/4. Was thinking of doing a day trip to USO so daughter can do some of the Harry Potter stuff

How crazy is the Sunday of thanksgiving weekend? Figured black fri would be nuts but thought maybe like Disney Sunday starts to empty out? Would Monday be much much better?

Thx

i did a search to pull up threads that might help with your question.

opinions varied on the saturday/sunday after turkey day.

quite a few stated the crowds had rolled in on the weekend.
can't say that one day over the other was higher in crowds as what i read could not tell the difference if only saturday had the crowds or sunday.

would think that monday would be decent and have a very managable crowd.

this is one holiday i have not been at the darkside.
i stay away from the major holidays for most of them.
exceptions have been mlk, spring break, easter, memorial day, labor day, halloween

hope with my bump for this thread others will read and and help out with their experiences in the parks for the sunday after Tday.

The only comment I have is about traffic. Since you'll already be there this should not be a problem. My mom, sister, and I thought it would be a brilliant idea to go to Orlando on the Sunday after. What is normally a 4 hour drive took 7. Never, ever, again.

Once we got to the parks on Monday they were great! We did disney first and then went to universal later in the week. I don't think there's going to be a definitive answer until you get there. Usually Sundays at Universal are not too terrible, but how many people are taking off Monday and how many locals will be ditching their "family time" to head to the parks.

Look at the express pass price on the universal site for your dates. That is how I estimate how busy they're expecting it to be. I also combine that with all the crowd calendars to get a good idea.

If the ep prices are listed as low now, that can change the closer you get to your date of going

Prices increase for some dates

I've also seen them decrease the week of. I meant to write "watch" the express rates.

Decrease I have never seen

Increase, yes, have seen that
This year at Easter. My friend bought hers two weeks prior because I told her "they never decrease".... Her brother bought theirs AT universal and they were $30 cheaper. It was also FLOODING rain. I was SHOCKED. I should never say never..
