Sunday, May 24th Crowds

NO.
Will it be crowded? YES.

Utilize Hydroguy's tips and have a great time.:)

SoCal and Deluxe AP's are blocked, just like Easter and President's Day.

Easter and President's Day were two of the emptiest Sundays of the year, and I am there almost every Sunday.

The park will not necessarily be less crowded than recent Sundays when the parking garage has been shut down by 10AM, but pretty much all attractions will be running at full capacity, processing people a lot faster.

Fewer people are traveling for weekend holidays, and 70% of APs are blocked that day.

President's Day Sunday was NOT empty! President's Day weekend was crowded, wet and rainy.

Yes, I'm sure it will be busy, there are a lot of people taking advantage of the long weekend, but with most AP's blocked I'm hopeful that it won't be horribly bad. In fact, the whole weekend (except Monday) is blocked out so I'm hoping it won't be too bad the whole weekend, but I am planning on big crowds anyway. :)

President's Day Sunday was not crowded. I never waited more than 30 minutes for anything, although maybe I just know how to hop the park. There was a forecast for a significant amount of rain, but it never happened, which probably scared people away. It was easily one of the emptiest Sundays of the year outside of early March. The Sunday after that, however, was a nightmare.

I was there that Sunday, with 4 kids, it was crowded. It was cold, it was wet, it was crowded and it was like that all weekend, even Monday. We didn't have huge long waits for rides but there were a ton of people in the parks. Maybe it was where we spent most of our time, 2 of the kids weren't ours so we kind of let them "run the show" so to speak so we did do things differently but I still would have felt it was crowded if we hadn't had the 2 extras with us.

Well, interesting. Thanks. I mean, Sunday is blocked but not the actual holiday on Monday.

It was the same last year, Monday wasn't blocked but Sat & Sun are, that's because a lot of people will use Monday as their return travel day. Hopefully crowds are lighter Mon & Tues. :)

Yep.

We started our parks time on that Monday and it was quiet. But we heard the weekend starting from around Thurs was pretty busy (not packed to the point of closing, but busy). Guess they all left on Monday. Yay for them!:goodvibes
