Our vacation begins on April 23rd which is Grad Night at MK (closes at 7pm). How bad will the crowds be on Sunday the 24th? On our past trips we have always avoided the MK on the weekend, because we thought it would be just too crowded. This trip everyone is excited about seeing Wishes. We have the park hopper option do you think it would be worth a visit to the MK for Wishes (only)? :listen:

I was wondering the same thing about that weekend with grad nights. Actually our first full day is 4/23(Sat.) and I thought we(DH, myself, and DS(4)) would hit MK that morning instead of going to AK(EMH). With MK having a 7 PM closing maybe the regular tourists will skip MK that day. We are there for 8 nights so we have lots of time to Park hop. I am also wondering about that Sunday. Maybe it will be crowded. Our plan was to visit AK on Sunday. Take a break and then go to MK just for Spectromagic/Wishes in the evening.

Staying at POP :earboy2: :moped:

I was at WDW last year during the Grad Night events. I found that the parks crowds were lighter the day after the Grad Night, I think most people stayed away. I did find that DTD and the water parks were very crowded with teenagers the day after grad night. The worst aspect of the crowd at DTD, and at MK was the fact that some (not all) of the students would travel in packs like schools of fish, never letting foot traffic through their midst. Nothing worse than coming across twenty students walking six or seven abreast and they would not let you through their crowd.
