Sunday brunch at inventions..

Just booked for the 18th nov and the theme is 'around the world' just wondering if anyone knows who might be there

Hi we've recently booked Inventions for 18th Nov, on booking we were informed that characters will include minnie, mickey, pluto, goofy and the other 'main' characters, she said she didn't know exactly who else, but others will be there. we've also booked café mickey for the 16th for one of our group's birthday so hopefully we'll have more variety there! and hopefully the food in both will be great!!

Going from the photos I've seen on French forums the other characters for around the world are Chip and Dale besides the ones already named.

So it won't be anyone 'special' then? Seems a lot of money to pay for characters you can see in cm. might cancel if that's the case.

Not from the pictures I've seen, no. They charactres do wear quite different costumes though.

You get the usual suspects wearing different costumes than usual but no special characters like at some of the other brunches.

But you can't compare Inventions and Café Mickey food wise at all and especially not the brunch which has even more food choices than the regular meals over there. CM is basic at best and the character interaction often uneven.

Thankyou, thinking of changing to an evening meal at inventions instead, I was so excited seeing some of the themes and im a little disappointed this is the one we've landed on! Suppose there's always next time

I hear you on that. was so excited about the new themes and then I get the only one on the list I have actually done.

But due to what Carrie has said I'll still be sticking with Inventions. Worst case scenario is I'll be meeting Rapunzel again and this time I have a spare back up drawing.

I would've loved the Italian one to meet jiminy cricket ( I would die happy if I met him) or the Peter pan one! Even 100 acre wood I'd be happy,
My DH says they are just people dressed up but to me they arnt they are the real thing lol!

The Italian one I had in April. I almost screamed the house down when Jiminy walked in.

I was so hoping for Hawaii - that one I've done before too, but there've been reports of Angel showing up in the parks lately, and I was hoping they had added her to that.

My DBF is like your DH - he just doesn't get it. Like you say, to me they are the real thing.

We basically got ignored by characters when we went last time on our own, with the kids in tow this time im hoping for some better experiences.

Happens from time to time, yes. I wonder what they're thinking we're there for - the waiter's pretty blue eyes maybe.

I think Snow White walks past me first each and every time I see her at Auberge. I was joking with a CM once what they wanted me to do to get attention, set the table on fire? Obviously a bouncy adult with camera on the table, an autograph book, pens photos and drawings isn't quite catchy enough.

It's not fair though especially when you're paying for the experience (not even including actually getting in the park)
The kids are pretty cute though and my youngest will 6 months so he should get his fair share of attention!

Can you pre pay by adding the brunch to your booking?? Or can you use the h/b premium h/b at face falue here?? Trying figure out our best option.

Want to have all our meals payed for b4 hand, as i hate handing over that much money for food, aleast with the voutchurs i dont feel like Im paying for it lol!!

Yes, you can use any of the vouchers at face value, it's the only way of paying upfront for it unless you want to load the money on one of those pre-paid travel cards.

I'd wanted to meet Jiminy for about 5 years since someone said they'd seen him once at Plaza Gardens (in the days when they did the tea party there) and I was so when I found out our theme was Italian and that Vala had met him at a previous one. And yes, he is so
