OK, it's 2:30pm and we're back at WL for rest but what a day!

Went to MK this morning for EMH. Did Buzz Lightyear, Indyland, the whole Fantasyland including Philharmagic, BTMRR, and Splash Mountain all under 2 hours! Everything was a walk-on.

Around 10:30 the crowds started coming in making MK a little bit more crowded, so we decided to go to Casey's to eat some lunch. This is another firsts for us and we had to try it since we kept reading all the good reviews on the DIS. Well... you guys got it right! It was good. Also stopped at the Main Street bakery, and I saw their breakfast quiche... now that looked so good! Make note to self --> must eat the quiche at MS bakery.

The kids got their usual haircut, color and pixie dust at the barbershop. There we talked to a very nice CM and his family. He works on the computer systems for Central Reservations, and he was joking on how he'd heard about these disney freaks who seem to know the codes and what goes on before the CMs ever do! He..he..he... the DISboards are so wonderful aren't they?

Oh btw, I met my first fellow DISers on vacation. I spotted a lime green Mickey head and I knew... she had to be a DISer! Well, it turns out she was. So, PKK/MKK.... if you're reading this.... HI again from oogieboogie and picantel!:wave2:

Well, looks like Orlando and most of Florida are going to be spared by Ivan. The weather is beautiful here - warm, high 80s, and seems like everytime it's rained, we've been indoors - so I haven't seen the rain. (Knock on wood)

Anyways, we're heading off to MGM now. Going to get in some shows and rides and Fantasmic.

PS: I'm so sorry Pop Daddy, I know it's long but I can't help myself. Please forgive me!

Sounds like a nice time, enjoy!! ::MickeyMo ::MinnieMo If you run across MJ again, ask her if she knows where Belle, Snow White or Ariel are, she is REALLY good friends with them.

Thanks for the report, and have a great time!;) Casey's is great aren't they!::yes:: Glad to hear Ivan is going to spare Orlando this trip, hope it doesn't hit the Panhandle either.::yes::

Sounds like a wonderful vacation. I can't wait (one more week). When you say it is upper 80's, is it really humid also? Does it seem terribly hot or pretty comfortable? Just wondering what to expect. It seems that with all the rain it would be really humid at this point. Thanks and have a great time!

Lucky Duck!!!!

Well, we didn't end up at MGM tonight. Instead we decided to have dinner at Whispering Canyon first, then head to Epcot for Illuminations. It had rained at around 3:30pm and we just didn't feel up to walking in the rain tonight.

Whispering Canyon was great as usual. Our server was great... he kept doing magic tricks for the kids. As usual, our table got the big jars of drinks, the many ketchup bottles, and usual jokings.
Zurgswife... we saw Bobby, told him the Bad Shoe crew sends their hello, and Bobby says hello back! He misses you guys!

We met Heada Lettuce today at Whispering Canyon. She was great and apparently recognized the kids from their pics on my sig! So Suzanne, :wave2: from us. We really love you guys at WCC!

Well, it didn't rain anymore afterall, and so we headed to Epcot hoping to get some gelato in Italy - we got there and they were gone!!!! Where are they???? Oh, no... we need gelato! They were all out and we'd have to wait till tomorrow. AAAARGGHHHH!!!!

Walked on some more, the German miniature village was walled up - I wonder if they got damaged in the hurricane. World Showcase's crowd was pretty light - at 8:50pm with 10 minutes to Illuminations there were still a lot of good spots left.

We decided to watch it from the front of the world showcase plaza area. All I have to say is WOW! We had never watched it from here before and this is a great spot to be, but you do have to come a little early to get a great spot up top.

Illuminations was great as usual. The fireworks are just spectacular and the music is so moving. And best of all, since this is right on the exit path, getting out of Epcot thru Future World was a breeze.

Sunday at the World was great, but tiring. So... goodnight and for those of you coming this week, say hi if you see us!

Your pictures are great as always. But are you taking lots of good "Where is this" pictures to quiz us with later :teeth:?

Who asked for the ketchup????? Both those little boys look totally innocent. ;)

Thanks for sharing your pictures. I got to see Epcot at night---usually things come up for us. NC Beast would want to do Whispering Canyon on our next trip.

Enjoy a gelato for us!:sunny:
