Hi

We are a family of 5 traveling from the UK (kids 12, 9 and 6) and I was hoping I could get some advice on the following:

(1) We have an early entrance at 7.30am and will head straight for Harry Potter. After Harry Potter which parts of the park will be quieter around 10am?

(2) How crazily busy will the park be on this day?

(3) What will the weather be like typically?

(4) What are the must do's at this park?

Any info would be great.

Cheers

G

parks won't be quiet on dec 30th.

you will see crowds.

you are going during a busy holiday time period.

I would tour the Harry Potter area rather quickly and head straight for Spiderman. If any of you like coasters, ride the Hulk and then the water rides if the weather is warm (not as likely to get wet in Jurassic Park but count on it on the others). There is a waiting time board near the park entrance across from Confisco's Grille but we find it only somewhat accurate. If any of your kids enjoy Dr Seuss, you might want to ride the trolley train rides as early as possible too. It's a cute ride but unfortunately a slow loader. The Pteradonon Flyers ride in Jurassic Park is also a slow loader but this one I might skip if possible.

If you want Harry Potter souvenirs, I'd check the gift shop close to the park entrance and try to avoid buying in the WWoHP area if you can. They have a decent selection of things including wands and it won't be nearly as crowded.

(1) We have an early entrance at 7.30am and will head straight for Harry Potter. After Harry Potter which parts of the park will be quieter around 10am? As Macraven stated...there will be nowhere in the park that will be quiet during that week.

(2) How crazily busy will the park be on this day? Christmas week is the busiest week of the year. Expect long waits for everything. You will have to make sure you pack your patience because you will need it and don't forget...I'm not just talking about the attraction queues but also restaurants and restrooms as well.

(3) What will the weather be like typically? December weather is anyone's guess. It can be hot one week and then a cold front comes through and cools things down. You will need to check the weather a few days before you leave so you can get an idea of what kind of weather we've had.

(4) What are the must do's at this park? Everything...except maybe The Eighth Voyage of Sinbad Stunt Show...I didn't think it was worth the wait.
My answers above.
