Sunday 22nd February Crowds - Oscars day

Hi there,
We have booked to go to LA California on the 20th February to the 26th. We will be there when the Oscars is on at the Kodak Theatre on Sunday 22nd so thought we should schedule that day out of town since it might be quite busy and go to Disneyland.... do you think I'm doing the right thing? Do you think going to Disneyland on a Sunday is a bad idea or do you think that with the Oscars being on that day locals might be pre-occupied with their own little Oscar parties etc?

LA is a big town - you shouldn't have a problem with Oscar crowds unless you're staying right there in Hollywood. Also, Sundays (and Saturdays) are usually significantly more busy at DL than weekdays, so I'd suggest sticking with Plan A, whatever that was.
