Summertime VB availability @ 7 months??

Does anyone have experience with booking VB (a 2 b/r) for a summer trip at or inside of 7 months? We're new DVC members, and we'll have a handful of banked '05 points which we'll need to use by 7/31/07. Our dates are pretty flexible, anytime between the end of the school year (3rd week in June) and July 31.

After 4 trips (pre-DVC ownership) to WDW in 3 years, we want to do something different next summer--relax!! VB looks like a good place to do that.

We have booked VB 3 times at the 7 month window, 2 times at about 4 months, we were looking for 1 OV inn room on one trip and 2 OV inn rooms on the other. Got what we wanted on the first try both times. The 3rd trip I called about 6 1/2 months for a 2BR, got it. These were all July trips.

The 2 bedrooms and the cottages are by far the toughest to get. There are only 6 cottages and not that many 2 bedrooms either. The inn rooms shouldn't be a problem.
