My ds & dd have been fighting constantly since school got out. I finally came up with a system where I am no longer going to correct them, yell at them, or punish them. I simply ask them "was that a good choice" everytime they say/do something wrong or disrespectful. I told them I was offended by their behavior and constant fighting and think that they can do much better. The system has been working out well so far and I'm kind of excited to see how it progresses.
My questions is...I have told them if they show a marked improvement in their behavior and attitudes over the summer, they will each be presented with a special treat when we are in Disney...I know my dd wants to go to bibbity bobbidi boutique and I would probably buy her the $55 package and then give her a $50 gift card to buy accessories or the like since she is no longer into princesses. What do you think I could do for my 7 yo ds that would be comparable? Or do you have a better idea for the both of them? They do not want to do mnsshp again (I do though!!!
