When do you first start to see the signs of summer?
When do you offical think it is summertime?

When the lightning bugs come out, I KNOW it's summer!! Can't wait to put on flip-flops and open all the windows! Especially since I'm sitting under 8 inches of snow! (Well, it was 8 inches- it's melting now. But still- it's supposed to be SPRING!!!)

When the kids don't have any more homework!

When I feel hot instead of cold all the time!

I had just gotten the sign up, up for the Summer exchange if anyone would like to join us.

Before when I thought of summer, the first thing that came up was summer vacation, then juicy watermelon, and being able to get shaved ice.

This year my SS's last day of school is June 8th.

It was 17 when I got up this morning, did make it to 45 this afternoon, but supposed to be cold again tonight. Mostly all the snow is melted, however.

We see the first signs of summer about 6 weeks before we see the first signs of winter.

To me, it is officially summer when I turn on the air conditioning.
