Summer Weekends

We have been to DL twice in the summer (August 2014 and July 2015) so we are fully prepared for 60th level crowds...but we have always hit the parks during the week. We are planning a trip for this summer and are thinking about being in the parks Wednesday the 19th to Sunday the 23rd.

Do you think we will notice a big difference between weekday and weekend crowds?

The Friday, Saturday, and Sunday dates will definitely have more people overall compared to Wednesday and Thursday. However, I've found that if you really utilize those early morning hours and take a midday break to return later in the evening it's definitely a good way to not feel overwhelmed. But seriously, take advantage of the mornings -- you can get SO much done those first few hours of opening.
