This is not disney related but I had to come on here and warn parents of something that happened to me over the weekend. We had 90 degree weather and it was very hot. I took my DD (who is almost 2) to the park for some fun. At the park there were sprinklers and all the kids were getting wet and having fun! My DD was all wet and playing with the kids. This was a public sprinkler run by the city.
Well 3 & 1/2 hours later my DD was vomiting non-stop (4 times in 2 hours) followed by intense diarrea. She did not eat anything out of the ordinary (just some fruit and mac & cheese, crackers..stuff she eats all the time). I am convinced she ingested some bacteria-filled water from the sprinklers. I took her to the emergency room becase I didn't know what to do. Fortunately she was able to go home and was ok by the evening but Iam convinced that the public water used was not clean and probably contained bacteria or some other thing.
I'm passing this message along as an FYI for parents.

. I told him to stop but it was too late...the next day, the same thing with the severe stomach bug. It was the worst one I've ever dealt with with my children and I almost had to take him to the hospital for dehydration. Ever since then I have never let the kids play in those types of fountains..even if they accidentally open their mouth or something, it could happen all over again. I tell my kids that there are lots of germs in those things and I try to avoid letting them even see them.
