Summer two oh one oh~ memories

with everyone going back to school soon or already in school, i thought i should start a thread to share all the good memories and highlights from summer.

my highlights where:

~meeting the Jonas brothers
~ traveling almost the entire month of june around the country
~JONAS WEEKEND 2010
~countless time with my friends
~SLEEPING IN!

what where your summer highlights and memories?

-Random bonfires w/ friends
-WDW in August
-Tons of grad parties
-Late night convos online
-Shopping spree
-Getting my umpiring check
-Seeing hairspray 4 times at community theatre

I'm leave for college on Sunday, and I start marching band camp on Monday. This summer flew by.

Oh goodness some of these are going to make me sound like a freak but were priceless at the moment I'll probably have more to say since I still have 20 days of summer left...

~Back packing to Monte Cristo
Some major memories from that trip include
- my friend falling into the freezing cold river
- Sean asking everyone if they had pooped yet
- it rain non-stop and the fire wouldn't start
- hiking trip to a glacier where I broke my tibia
- snow and us all huddling trying to stay alive in shorts
- attempting to roast our wet shoes and socks around the fire like marshmallows
- stories about poop
- leaving a day early since everyone was so cold and misserable
- going to a church families property on the way back and doing our quiet times and a rat showing up
- going to my youth pastors house and climbing up on his roof and watching fire works in the middle of a sermon!
-my friend chocking on food and sounding like a boy so we changed here name to Charles haha you had to be there we laughed for an hour or so
-3 hours of solitude
- the word hoorah

Black Lake Bible Camp
memorys from there include
-making strong relationships with others I had seen alot but barely knew
-tubing
-the poop board
-silly stringing the good morning sunshine people
-Oh-Blah-Blah poop enough said
-My friend pulling a senior prank where she got a counsellor name tag and pretended to be a counsellor tons of guys that were like 25 were asking her for her number since she looks way older than she is. Also we got away with going into buildings for staff only priceless haha except when our real counsellor told us we had to leave in front of other staff haha
- talking about poop for hours

those are really the only real fun things I've done all summer overall it's been realitively boring I broke my tibia so I can't do alot and I've had tons of hospital visits and stuff and stays and alot of my friends have been gone on trips so I've kindof mostly been stuck home all day in bed or at the hospital but hopefully things will get better I have some fun things planned for the next few days so hopefully i will be able to make more memories

-Seeing the American Idols Live tour in Hamilton and meeting Aaron Kelly and Tim Urban. <3 And them giving me big hugs.
-again at the American Idol Tour, our seats getting upgraded to the front of the floor so I got to stand by the stage and all of the Idols were waving at me, and Aaron sang to me.
-playing Disney Sing It: Family Hits with my friend
-going to Harry Potter:The Exhibition dressed as a Slytherin and a Gryffindor with my friend, and buying a TimeTurner.
-watching A Very Potter Sequel the morning after the premiere.
-visiting my cousins.

The sole highlight in my entire summer was the concert I went to. That's it. I saw one concert. Other than that, summer 2010 has been the absolute worst summer I have ever had and I would pay to forget it.
