Summer Sojourn at the Hollywood Tower Hotel ~ Day 1

[Ware Bears]

Sunday 10th August 2008

We had a good flight from Southampton to CDG, our driver from BS Transports was waiting and we were at the Explorers hotel by 9pm.

After quickly unpacking, we were hungry so we decided to go into the park for something to eat. We were the only ones on the shuttle bus and as we still had our annual passes we were able to get straight into the park.

Yay, did it feel good to be back!!

We decided to go to Fuente del Oro and had fajitas, chili and churros ~ mmmmmm, very yummy.

Big Thunder Mountain only had a 15 minute wait so we rode that a couple of times, then headed back to the hotel, stopping to watch the Enchanted fireworks on our way out.

I only have one photo for today, that's Fern the DIS DLP croc who also holidayed with us choosing which bunkbed she wanted to sleep in.

Well, at least you're not as behind as me ~ I can't believe it's nearly a year ago that we went! Part of me thinks what's the point now but it is nice to have it all written down so I can relive it if I'm in a need of a fix.

i know its nice to look back. i have said i cant go on my next trip without finishing my trip reports from the last one
