Summer Quick Service Meal Offer question

We are booked under the Summer Quick Service Meal offer at All Star Sports for 6 nights. We are 2 adults, 2 kids (7,5) and infant (2 year old).

I read that kids have to order from the kids menu, if there is one, but do the kids HAVE to use the meal allotments? Are the meal allotments specifically 12 adults and 12 kids meals, or is it just 24 quick service meals? Could my husband and I use 4 total a day (lunch/dinner) and order the kids menu items out of pocket?

For quick service the meals for the last 3 years when we went they do not separate them by adult or kids meals. You get one lump total number.
