Summer promotions

We're hoping to stay at a deluxe for the first time this summer if they have a promotion that we can afford. YC or BC would be our first choice, but I checked several dates for June and July and all the standard rooms are already booked for many of the dates! Is it possible there won't be any discounts on those resorts since they are filling up at standard rates?

Could be, but that's unusual for YC to be booked. That's one of the resorts that some folks consider "snooty" or "not kid friendly" so Beach Club is usually booked first. Could be there are rooms being held for conventions, or groups and they haven't been released yet. Or a day or two at the beginning or end of your trip make it unavailable.

Yes hopefully more will be released. I hadn't heard that about YC. Would you not recommend it? My two youngest are 12 and 16. I know they share a pool with BC, so is it more in the lobby and restaurants?

It's basically the same place, connected. My then 14 and 12 year old boys liked it. We ended up at YC because, as is typical, YC when there are discounts, discounts at %30 and the BC only discounts at %20. This is true with the current pin code, which extends beyond the spring discount. I would guess, if a general public discount is released, it would be that way.
