Okay...I have never been there and I am noticing that they don't post park hours until around 60 days out. We are going June 10th-18th. For those disneyland regulars, when do the parks normally open and close for our dates?

Also, when do CA schools nornally get out for summer vacation?

2010 june 11-17
Disneyland
Fri 9 to 12
Sat - Tue 8 to 12
Wed 8 to 9
Thur 9 to 9

DCA
Fri - Tue 10 to 10
Wed and Thur 10 to 6.

EDIT:

June 18-24:
Disneyland:
Fri 9-12
Sat-Wed 8-12
Thu: 8-9

DCA:
Daily 10-10

I think it's about mid June that the long hours start. Not sure about all schools but here in Northern Calil my kids get out on June 10th.

Raindown-- are those hours similar to the first 2 weeks in June also? We are planning either 1st or 2nd week in June. Also, what goes on for the grad nights?
Thanks!:goodvibes

The closest times I have to the first to weeks on june is May 28-June 3

Disneyland:
Fri: 9-12
Sat-Mon 8-12
Tue & Wed: 9-11
Thu: 8-9

DCA:
Fri: 9-9
Sat - Mon 10-10
Tue & Wed: 10-7
Thu: 10-6

Grad nights are when high school graduating seniors get to spend the night in Disneyland. They set up dance stages and have select attractions open. On grad nights you likely see an earlier park closing.

Thanks--that helps alot! And I see where there is a post about looking into last year's schedule to find out this year's. I guess I'm just already excited and wanted to see how late we could stay!!:cool1:

Thanks for adding the 18-24! :)

We mistakenly stayed at the Disneyland resort during grad night when our kids were small. Teenagers running rampant and annoying phone calls from a teenage boy trying to locate a cute call he saw walk down our hallway. Never again. To say the least we did not have to pay for the night. The park itself was fine just be sure not be be in a hotel with large groups of kids.

Not sure what happened to you, but for grad nights:

1. Teens are not allowed to drive to DLR - they must come on buses that are chaperoned.

2. Teens are guided into the parks and cannot leave all night until 6AM.

3. Teens are directed back to their bus at 6AM which then departs.

The last thing Disney wants are unruly teens disrupting paying guests. It is therefore unlikely these were teens there on grad night. Any teen can just show up at a Disney or good neighbor hotel like any they can at any hotel anywhere - and such teens would not be there for grad night - just there on grad night on their own.

Not to discount your story, which I am sure was very annoying, but yours is the first story of this kind I have ever heard. I do not think it is typical of grad nights and would not want other forum readers to get that idea. Grad nights are highly controlled.
