My wife and I are AP holders and live a short drive away from WDW and we always try to arrive after 6 this time of year. The first thing I notice is that you can tell right away who has been there all day. They have the look in their faces of going thru a war and loosing it with barely enough energy to move. I feel so sorry for them for all that planning and effort in the trip and when they get back to their hotel, do they really feel it was worth that much effort to feel like that at the end of the day. We have tried a few times in arriving at noon, but being card holding seniors, we just could not deal with the heat and humidity and had to leave. Big advantage for us living so close and can go whenever we want. I wish the Disney people could arrange it to have really late hours this time of year for people to miss the heat of the day and really enjoy their visit, but doesn't look like that will happen anytime soon.
