I found the whole reservation thing a PITA compared to Disney and calypso and the Toronto zoo.
I was at work and I had the app my tickets were there . I had written down the code but not the bar codes . There’s was no link. I was screenshooting and trying to go back and forth .. it was impossible .
I finally had DD sign in to my laptop and book them that way but they aren’t on my app? The tickets are still there and the reservations are good via email but no link between the two. I will investigate more when I get home.. but yikes. We are going august 8th.

For the zoo, they only have reservations for next week? I am looking to book August but can't see that it's available yet. I'm ok to wait, just want to make sure I didn't miss something. I have tickets from Airmiles I got last year that I want to use.

yes as of now they are only booking a week at a time I think ? We are members so we are going this week/tomorrow for the member preview.quack quack it’s supposed to pour

I'll keep an eye on it then and hope it will open up to let us go around the date we have booked for Wonderland, I'd rather do that drive once this summer and not twice!

The problem with reserving passes admissions so far out you are at the Mercy of Mother Nature. We are making the 2+ hour drive to the zoo this afternoon , praying the storm blows over . I can handle light rain.. but .. pray for us

We are off on our BC trip tomorrow! After the uncertainty about whether or not we were going to be able to leave Vancouver Island, we decided to not risk it and we cancelled the RV we had booked and booked hotels that we could cancel with 48 hours notice. Now that travel within BC is open, we are good to go!

We made it to the zoo and it was clear all aft.
7 kept calling the gi train when we drove by it the “ monorail”
And DD convinced the two boys the misting fan was actually a Lysol cleansing mist ..
Zoo was amazing as always , people were mostly respectful of spacing and they obviously have lots of space .

We were looking into possibly buying season passes for Wonderland. Has anyone made more that one reservation at a time?
It's quite a drive for us, so we were thinking of going 3-4 days including the waterpark. Any suggestions for hotels in the area?

Pass holders can only make 2 reservations at a time. Not sure about hotels in the area as I live an honor away but I do know there is quite a few in the area

Not related to doing anything in particular, but DD and DH are making a little garden to grow catnip for our three kitties for when they are out in the yard. Now THAT should be interesting to watch all summer LOL

Edit to add: Fun Fact. Catnip is a herb that humans can eat. It has the opposite effect on us, it is calming. You can add it to salad, steep it to make tea, etc. Hmmm, I am going to make a summer experiment and report back.

Bought the season passes for Wonderland. Pleasant surprise is that they are valid until Labour Day 2022.

Ontario appears to be moving to the next phase on June 30th... I am so getting a hair cut! I may also go for mani/pedi which I don't normally do but felt might help support those businesses that have been suffering. I've already been supporting local restaurants by the amount of food I've been picking up or having delivered

Summer heat wave! I am so glad my AC got fixed. We went to the beach today, I'm on vacation for a week. Not much planned since things aren't really opening up yet, I'd love to get a hair cut and mani/pedi but can wait another week for that.

We were looking at Wonderland, watching their POV videos... oh my. I am not sure I should have booked that! It is going to be scary for me. He will love it. I wish he'd go on rides without me. Still trying to figure out how to book a zoo day, I have AM tickets from last year to use and can't see anywhere to do that. I guess I will have to call.

It looks like Calypso is opening on July 1st, but I am going to leave our date as the 10th, give them some time to sort things out when they first open. Hopefully the weather will be nice, perhaps not quite as hot as today.

On the topic of Wonderland, apparently they are having troubles selling out the park with reservations. I would have thought demand would have been high with the amount of people with season passes and not being able to do anything for the past year

Was their capacity 25% ? Canada’s wonderland ..

Hdrolfe - we will be praying for good weather as that’s our day there too. .. fingers crossed I would shoot the zoo a quick email .. they are usually really great to respond

Yeah for now their capacity is 25%. You would think with it that low most days would be sold out and they aren't.

I tried to book another seasons passholder park+waterpark reservation but weekends are fully booked up, still some weekday entry times. But I don’t really want to use a vacation day in case we cancel due to the weather.
