Summer flights are out! Help me pick dates!

Disney should reallllyyyy announce PTN dates.

Summer flights for SW are out and I need to pick dates.
We wanted to pick dates based on flights and our two choices are:

June 6-10
July 1-5

My hubby is a veteran so the flag ceremony on the 4th of July would be a big draw. Worried about heat tho. Worried that early in June we risk missing PTN which is the whole point of the trip. SW does let you cancel and keep flight credits so if we had to we had to.

We've been on the 4th before and don't remember super terrible crowds..

What would you do?

July 1-5, because the June dates will include two Grad nights, on the 6th and the 8th.

If heat is a factor I’d do the June dates. However, I wouldn’t book my flight until after Disney announces PTN dates.

What would you do?

Do not book your flights until PTN dates announced. As I recall, Disneyland last year around this time late October/early Nov., the whole calendar of the events for the next year with dates and information, info should be coming soon!!

I feel like we can change our dates easily even if I book flights. Southwest makes it very easy/flight credits don't expire. I'd like to lock in prices now if those stay our dates. Also
Lock in hotel cost.

Then go with the July dates. I am 100% Paint the Night will be running then.

I'm not sure if you are a Costco member but they have $500 SW gift cards for $429 right now. Just wanted to throw that out there.
