I just made our reservations for 2007 for the week of July 14th -22nd. Our other option would be the last week in June. I noticed in 2006 the crowd level was down one rating that last week in June vs. July, so I am wondering if I should change to the last week in June instead. So, my question is what would you suggest. I was really excited about going in July because that will put us at Disney on my birthday. (I know I am a 30 something woman, but it still seemed like it would be really neat). However, it the crowds will be noticably less I would rather go in June. Any input will be apprecaited.

They will both be VERY crowded.

If you're going to split hairs, I would think that the last week of June might be more crowded because it leads into July 4 weekend. But there should definitely not be a significant difference between the two weeks.

I've never noticed a huge amount of crowd difference between the end of June and the middle of July. Early in June the crowds are definitely less but by the 3rd week of June you start to see the crowds pick up. Then until the middle of August is the most crowded of the summer.

Incidently, I know most people will tell you to avoid the summer (crowds, heat, storms) but we've always been able to do everything we want to do, with a little planning. The parks are open later so waiting in line a little longer doesn't really hurt and if you use the "take a mid-day break at your resort" method you can avoid most of the worst heat. Just remember to drink lots of water!

I'd say the crowds are the same. Personally, I like July better - but I'm not exactly sure why. The weather seems the same, the crowds the same - there's no real reason why I guess. :)

I don't think there will be much difference in crowds. Early June is less crowded but once you get to the end of June it changes. I would plan on going in July as planned. Despite what many say, summertime is great at WDW. Long hours, parades, fireworks, every day and night & everything's open.

We just did the last week of June and it was not that bad until the later part of the week when it really picked up ( F,S,S ) but I agree with the others it's not really that big of a difference.

I just book for the 1 st week in June 2007 to get more time on our PAP's before they expire.

We just went to WDW the last week of June and are thinking about going back the same time next year. We don't do any of the big rides yet (Space Mt etc.) The longest wait we had to ride anything was 1/2 for Dumbo. We didn't go to the parks on the weekend only on weekdays. We have been in mid July, End of May and middle of Jan. Other than it was much hotter than when we went in Jan the crowds seemed very similar to us.
