Okay, I have been looking at the summer schedule. How many of you guys stay for EMH when it is from midnight til 3AM! That is awfuly late. Just curious to see how many people stay and what ages are in your group!

We're going to give it a try! Our last night MK will have emh till 3:00 am and we'll see how it goes. Nothing to lose, right? If we get too tired, we leave.
We plan to take a longer break that afternoon and maybe nap instead of just swim like we usually do. I'm a night owl by nature so I shoud have no problem but the DH is usually asleep by 9:00! Should be interesting...

We the parks at night! However, we do have to plan to keep from getting all yawny at 9:30PM . Most important is to take a loooong afternoon break - sneak in a nap, if you can, and don't get started until 7-8PM - yeah, that's late, but 8PM still means 7 hours at the MK.

miss missy: if the MK is open till midnight (not uncommon on a summer weekend night), the the 3 extra hours of EMH-PM keeps the place open until 3AM!

Wow that'll be a treat for us for sure! Never been in summer.. thanks for the info! So does that mean on AUg 27 MK closes at 10 with EMH makes it 1am right?

That's right! While we're there in early June, we'll get to stay until 1 am one night and 2 am three nights!

Does anyone know just how busy the parks will be after midnight? It might be worth staying up WAY passed my bedtime for a few less crowds this June!!

Perhaps Summer schedules are more reliable, but generally you can't be 100% sure that about the EMH times until a couple weeks ahead of your arrival (and maybe not even then). On the other hand, if Disney already knows that their resorts are mostly booked, then those 1,2 and 3am closings might be reliable.

like the DR. we also take a mid-day break to rest at the resort .DW never makes it late but DD will be staying with me this year.

I use to do E-ticket nights when DD was little as you could hit most of the big rides and she was to small to do them during normal hours.

When the park closes, how do they go about kicking out the people that aren't supposed to stay for the EMH?

They really don't kick out they gently herd .

When you get to the park of the morning ones you have to show your resort key for each person gaining entry.

For the Night ones you stop at different locations and get a wristband. You can't get on any rides without the band.

Yes, they rarely turn the cattle prods higher than "Low".

Seriously, I don't recall the 'herding'; while they don't let those without wristbands on rides or into shows, they don't mind if those folks eat, drink and shop....
