***Summer Disney Pin Sent/Received***.....COMPLETED!!

I keep my eyes open at The Disney Store online or else buy doubles when I go to the parks.....
Just a few days ago I bought a lot on Ebay for kids in my family that are going to WDW in August & needed traders. I'll let you know what I think when they arrive, keeping my fingers crossed.

Thanks for that... might have to go check ouit Disneystore online and see how much they are. Can't get any from any parks around here.... just a tad too far away I'm afraid... like a 16.5 hr flight.

I am just mystified. I mailed your pins on Monday and you got yours on Friday. I mailed to my two exchanges in the States on Sunday and they don't have theirs yet. Isn't that just something???

I love those state pins.
You should have seen the mailing going on in my house in those days! We lived in Nebraska, and at that time there were only 2 Disney Stores in the state. (And think they went down to only one years ago.)

No, is it hard to set up?
Do you have to take photos of every pin you have?

If I can do it, it is easy.
You don't have to take any pictures...they are all there, or mostly.
You just have to search for them all and set up an account and add them to your account when you find them.
You can do it slowly over time too.

But I got about 10 WA ones when they went on sale for 68 cents!! Don't think we'll see those days again.

I have not bought from DS.com in a long time. However every Monday they use to have free shipping on pins, or selected pins. Don't recall which, as I never ordered any. But that is something others might want to check out.

...okay, so they are sort of a 'matching set' - they are a Mickey pin and a Minnie pin (the outlines of both of them) and they are each holding a blue 'Mickey ears' hat with the outline of Cindy's castle on the front [in silver] of the hat...TOO CUTE!


...now, normally, I don't collect 'character' pins per se - strictly 'events', commemorative ones (with dates), resorts that I've stayed at (Nancy, you'd LOVE the DxL one I have! ), and my favorite rides, but these are DEFINITELY 'keepers'!! Thanks again - I love, love, LOVE them! They are from Ryka's DD, Ayana.....

I tried too, but hard to do too much without seeing them.
I still have a few of mine that I can't find.
There are so many Mickey ones, they can be hard.
Maybe adding the date will help (on the back).

...all it says is '2009'...it also says 'Pin Trading' and, instead of being a smooth metal finish in the back, it has little mickey heads 'cut out' or punched out...I don't have any other pins like that - is that new for 2009?

When searching on Pinpics I find the Pin Groups list a big help in finding the pins I have. Does anyone else use that, or do you do a keyword search?

So far I've managed to find all my pins, so I can't be doing too bad!

I was in my local Disney Store today and they have some great new additions - I assume the ones sold over here in the UK are exclusives ones?
