Summer Discounts

We haven't been to WDW since 2017, choosing to explore other parks around the world. Our 2020 WDW trip was cancelled due to Covid and I remember a summer discount coming out in January and prior to that when we went more regularly I remember discounts for the summer being released as late as April. We are planning a trip for late Aug 2025 and I know there is a Canadian resident ticket offer out but nothing else has been released. It's been so long I am not sure when to expect an package or hotel deal. Just trying to weigh our options because I am also considering renting DVC points to stay at AKL and the 11 window to book has opened so not sure if we should go ahead and book that and use the Canadian Resident ticket offer or if I should wait and see if there are better offers to come (we also love Coronado Springs)? Can anyone tell me when summer offers typically drop?

Since they haven’t realized winter deals yet, you still have a few months before you’ll hear news of summer.

We travel every August and while we’re DVC members now, there are times when the late summer hotel discounts are so good it pains me to use my points.

So if it were me, I would probably not go the DVC rental route, book the hotel rooms and once they release the discounts Disney can apply them.

Disney did release some dates for hotel discounts (up to 25% off) for Canadian residents for the Winter/Spring Feb 13- April 12th, April 25-30th and it listed other dates in Dec, Jan, Feb and April for discounts too. The Canadian Resident ticket offer is tempting but has to be purchased by Nov 6th-- if other discounts become available what happens if you've already purchased tickets?
