Summer Discounts?

We are planning a trip Tuesday-Friday the last week in August. I was all set at the Howard Johnson and rather excited about it....

But now I'm getting sad again that we aren't staying on site. Any chance there will be a discount for the summer months?

The other issue is we are in a suite at the hojo and would be in a regular room at the Disneyland hotel.... I just can't decide....but I think a discount may help sway my decision....

In the past they have offered discounts starting the end of august. What that discount will be is hard to predict. It won't be very much. Maybe 20 % max, and its quite possible that it will only be for premium rooms. The parks are getting busier and busier which means the discounts have be dropping the past few years.

If there's an onsite discount it's often on deluxe rooms negating any benefit.
