Summer discounts??

We are headed for a cruise the end of July. We will arrive the day before the Fantasy sets sail, so we will need to spend 1 night; preferably at AS Sports.

Does anyone have any idea if WDW has had discounts for that time of year in the past? If they have, any idea when they announce them?

Yes, there have been offers for that time frame. Last year it was 5-25% (depending on resort) off room only. The deal was released on April 2. You can find historical data on when discounts have been released from previous years at mouseavers.com. If you google historical data for Walt Disney World, it takes you right to the direct link needed on mousesavers. Hope you get a deal!
