Summer Concert Series at Epcot reviews

Here are some pictures from the concert last night. We really enjoyed it. These were taken from the back of the theatre.

We went and say Hotel California and they were very good. I am also not a big Eagle's fan, but knew every song they sang. I'm looking forward to seeing the Billy Joel tribute due to being a HUGE fan.

BJORN AGAIN, That is the name of the ABBA tribute band, and do they look and sound like ABBA.

How were the Aerosmith and Billy Joel tributes? Anyone planning on seeing the ABBA tribute.

I saw Draw the Line last weekend. They were awesome.

And not only does the lead singer sound like Steven Tyler, he LOOKS like him too. Circa 1973.

That's their thing, they are old school Aerosmith, and it's incredible. But they do play a mix of old and new stuff.

Draw the Line was DEFINITELY worth it.

Saw the Billy Joel Tribute last week. Stayed one set. It was pleasant.

Saw Draw the Line last nite. Stayed for all three sets, and going back again for another three sets Thursday night. They did a much better play list last nite, than Aerosmith did in January when they were at Waterhouse!

The second set last nite only had one repeat from the first, the last set added a couple new tunes, but was mostly the "Big Ones" of the first two sets. I was fine with that and they covered most of my favorites.

There is only one Steven Tyler. But the lead singer does an excellent job, and he does look like S.T. a little, but S.T. is much skinnier. I really enjoyed the group- and Aerosmith endorses them!

We saw Draw the Line a few days ago, and they were amazing!

Went over to see Draw the Line again tonite. This time I took DW.

First set, she picked where we sat- about in the middle. Surprisingly, the band really did sound great, balanced and the vocals were clear.

Second set, I got to pick- third row right off the runway. Guitars overpowered the lead singer, but it was still fun being that close to the action.

Third set, back to her pick... she decided third row right off the runway...

They did Jaded all three sets! Good for me!

There's only one Steven Tyler, but this band is a whole of a lot of fun, great musicians and the lead singer comes as close to S.T. as I have ever heard.

I really hope they will be able to come back next year...

The ABBA tribute was really good. DD7 loved them as she knows all the songs from Momma Mia.

We saw:

52nd Street – A Tribute to Billy Joel
Draw the Line – A Tribute to Aerosmith and
Björn Again – A Tribute to ABBA

The biggest crowd was for Bjorn Again and they were really great. Draw the Line was fun and came out to pose with the guests for pictures. 52nd St was pretty good too but not a lot of spirt like the others.

I will try to post some pictures/video clips if I can. We went with a group of 7 to Bjorn Again and we were in the front row dancing Lots of people were singing and dancing along. We were in the front row for Draw The Line and they were so funny too. They came over singing and posed for pics.

Just got back from Epcot, and the Billy Joel tribute band was GREAT! I've been a big fan for years and it was very good. It's a "young" Billy with the big afro hairdo. He does the harmonica contraption for "Piano Man" and everything.
My only negative comment was that "It's Still Rock and Roll To Me" had a bit of a slow tempo. The light show and the band were very good.

That is so funny that you mentioned the slower tempo!! I noticed that too, but it seemed to me to be on more than the one song.
Enjoyed it though! All the words from 52nd street came back to me! Fun!

I've only seen the ABBA one, and they were wonderful. I felt bad for them in their costumes though, it has been soooooooo hot and muggy this week! They all had fans blowing on them but I imagine by the last set they are ready for a cold shower and a long nap.
