Summer Camp sign up

I'm up at 4am TODAY(my usual get up time for work) because
it's Rec Summer Camp sign up day. One must take their soccer
chair, coffee, warm clothes, umbrella and show up before 6am
to get a # to wait until 11:00 to start signing up. It's like a
freaking rock concert. Hundreds of moms do this every year
like lemmings and this year I will join them to get the coveted
British Soccer camp position. 7 moms all piling into my friends
huge vehicle with equipment for waiting 5 hours outside.
dumb dumb dumb
today my mantra is "parenting is a joyous thing" LOL

Nope, not this mom. Dh is there!!! He's been in line since 5 am. What a guy. He's getting to know a lot of new friends. Isn't summer rec. sign up wonderful!!! Hey...maybe Kirk will be doing this someday for Catryna!!!

Is this just for some specialized soccer camp? Yikes! You parents are great! My kids aren't into sports (shucks! ) so I just send them to day camp 2x a week...
