Summer Bay Resorts

I am just beginning to plan a trip to Disney World for next summer.
We have always stayed on site but have decided to try off site this time.
I am looking at Summer Bay Resort. Has anyone stayed there or know anything about it? I would appreciate any information.

it is further away from WDW than say Silver Lake, orbit one, Cwr, Magic Tree resort, westgate - these are close to AK

on the other side - then Bryan's Spanish cove, grand beach, sheraton vistana resort, cypress point, vacation villa at parkway

if you want close then Wyndham bonnet creek is definitely on the list. it is across the creek from Pop Century and CBR.

Summer Bay is a bit further out, but you're talking a very few minutes difference. Not enough to really matter unless it's at Christmas when the traffic is really bad.

We have stayed there three or four times and it compares favorably to the other resorts in the area. If you can get a pool house, those are WONDERFUL, but they only have a few. We have also stayed in a regular 2br and were pleased with it.

We always had good experiences with the staff.
