summer bay resort???

Can anyone tell me about Summer Bay? We have RCI and were hoping to go to Orange Lake again, but nothing is opening up. We might try Summer Bay and would like your input. Does anyone have any other recommendations?

We like Summer Bay much more than Orange Lake and they are very close together, so no difference in the travel time.

RCI has many lovely resorts in the Orlando area. What time of year are you going?

We are looking at going in the summer of 2011(perills of being a teacher) for 2 weeks. We have 2 DD who will be 5 1/2 when we go and DS will be almost three. We want to go to Disney, Sea World and maybe Busch Gardens. We are driving down so the transportation won't be a problem.

you may want to search tripadvisor for review.
We stayed last year and I like it a lot, but DDs prefer Silver Lake.
A problem I see is the 1 in 4 rule, not sure whether they will enforce it.

We stayed at Summer Bay 2 years ago. We DID like it, but it IS much further out than many other places. We had a 1 bedroom unit (I have a review posted in the review board). They had a nice zero entry pool for little kids, and they do have a water play area (with non heated water- but that shouldnt be an issue in July!).

Im not sure I would stay again, due to location, but we were happy with it for our trip (Orlando and FL) not just Disney!
