Summer awaken magic bands

Not sure if this is the right forum to post this so please move if necessary.

The Disney website has this special magic bands, I think it's StarWars. Does anybody know how to get them? I went to MDE to customize our magic bands and I don't see that choice in our list.

I'm pretty sure you can only get the plain coloured Magic Band when customising in MDE, any limited or special edition bands can only be purchased in the parks or online from the Disney store website. So the only way to get them would be to buy them then link them to MDE

Free AP and resort magic bands are only solid colors. The limited edition bands and other designs including the Star Wars bands are sold within the parks (and maybe shop Disney app), so you'll have to pay for those bands

I booked a magic your way package with the awaken summer promo and the bb8 Magic band showed up as one of the free options when you customize your bands on the site. We only choose 1 out of our 5 bands to be bb8, but they all could be if you want. Ours arrived yesterday and the bb8 is cute!

You need to book the Summer Awakens resort package. Then you are able to select the special SW magicband in MDX. This does not work if you book the offer as a room only.

This. You have to have booked the Summer Awakens special. That is what we have and we were given the option for the BB8 Magic Band.

Also just to note to get the band you have to "upgrade" the Summer Awakend room package to a magic your way package with a minimum of 2 day tickets being added on. If you don't buy the tickets no special MB. We got the room only but bad tickets from a previously cancelled trip so didn't get the bands
