So I arrive at the Grand Floridian Spa, my sweaty, nauseated, just been flying through the air self. They fixed all that.
It was VERY relaxing.
I met a nice woman while I was there. She lives in Orlando and her husband surprised her with a trip. Hotel, massage appointment, dinner at an unknown restaurant (he just told her to bring nice clothes). I thought that was so sweet, it wasn't even HER birthday.
I walked back to the Polynesian from the spa. For everyone who was wondering, it really is a quick pleasant walk - even with bag well laden with bath and body products.
When I got back to the room there was a surprise waiting for me. A surprise party! Complete with cake, hats, noisemakers and my family jumping out and yelling surprise! My husband had conspired with the concierge. My family had also gotten me some lovely presents, including two very nice glass beady bracelets from Italy. How did they ever know?!?
After our party, we dropped the kids off at the Neverland Club. Then Chris and I got ready and went to our dinner at Kona's. I had decided to go to Kona's for my birthday rather than Citricos or California Grill (which were both in the running) because I didn't want to feel pressured to get somewhere else on time. Kona's was more convenient and I had a great meal last summer so I felt confident that I wouldn't be compromising my dining experience. As it tuned out I had a very good meal, enhanced by a lapu lapu. Just one of those thanks! Our server also brought out a special birthday treat after dinner. Wow, I've eaten a lot of special birthday treats this week!
It tuned out to be good that we were in the resort because we received a page from the Neverland Club right at the end of dinner. Our guys were tired and ready to leave A. quick walk to get them and before they knew it we were all watching the Electric Water Parade from the beach. Got jammies on and watched the fireworks from bed.

BUT WAIT, TOMORROW IS OUR LAST FULL DAY!
AND WE DON"T HAVE A PLAN!
