Summer 2024 Prices

I get why they are doing the short cruises. Those were popular during covid, but are they going to be popular now?
The two short cruises that are sailing this year have been insanely popular. The price increase has been eye watering and at some points there were no rooms on either cruise being offered if you were looking for a room for 4.

It’ll be interesting if that’s still the case now they are doing 3 weeks of short cruises.

Yes, it will be interesting to see if they over saturated the market with that schedule.

Maybe I've just gotten used to DCL prices but it doesn't really look all that crazy to me. They are pricing a premium for lighthouse point in the summer but that's because it's new--so makes sense to me. We're probably going to go with Norway. I agree it is more money than it has been the past few years, but it is finally during summer break for us instead of late August/early Sept when we'd have to pull the kids out school.

The opening day rates for the DCL European 2024 cruises are nearly identical to the opening day rates for similar DCL European 2023 cruises. I do not know whether GT discounted rates were offered so far in advance this year because the cruises weren’t selling well, or because Disney wanted to get cash flow and reduce the number of cancellations by getting more non-refundable advance payments.

I do agree that the itineraries for some 2024 cruises are not as appealing as some 2023 cruises. My husband and I waited to book our 2023 Northern European/Fjord cruise until the 2024 cruises were announced, then decided to go in 2023 when we could visit both Norway and Denmark. I would be thrilled if summer 2025 had two Disney ships in Europe, but I suspect DCL will add another ship visiting Lighthouse Point instead of Europe.
I no the 4 night cruise to France this year is 600 more than opening day last year

Alaska prices don’t seem crazy compared to what we paid in 2019 (ocean view with porthole), but the 5 night cruises that go to CC and LP are a little eye popping.

For a family of 4 the 9 night mediterrean trip is 11400 dollars for an inside cabin.

The 11 night trip is 16800 dollars for an inside cabin.

Those extra 2 nights are costing 5200 for an inside cabin,

thats insane.
