Summer 2021 Cruising

Is anybody going to cruise RCL or NCL while they are waiting for DCL to resume cruising? My whole family misses cruising and vacationing. We may sneek something in to scratch that itch for now.

Yes I am considering a greek island cruise. As a EU citizen I'm allowed to travel there as soon as I'm vaccinated.

NCL, Princess and Celestyal are very reasonable priced and I'm even kind of looking forward to try out an other cruise line.

We have a September cruise booked on the fantasy. If it doesn’t sail, or does sail with too many restrictions, we will jump ship to crystal or Viking. Both lines already have cruises planned sailing from the Caribbean or Bahamas.

We also have a September cruise on the Fantasy and want to see the conditions of sailing before deciding if we want to spend that kind of money for concierge. Celebrity would be our fall back.

We have an October '21 DCL cruise out of San Diego, but with the Alaskan season pretty much cancelled I don't see this happening. After that is May '22. I would not book another cruise with another cruise line at this point. Too much uncertainty to tie up any more money. If the October cruise doesn't go I can roll that money over to our May cruise. I couldn't do that with money spent on another cruise line.

Given all the uncertainty about cruising, I personally wouldn't feel comfortable giving another line (who I've never cruised with before- we've only sailed DCL) my money right now.

I've checked prices for a few NCL & RCCL cruises but the airfare is almost as much as the cruise fare.

No - we decided to skip cruising this year and go to Hawaii instead. Our next cruise is booked for March 2022.
