Desperate to book for next year which will be 4 1/2 years since our last trip

Usually we do Feb but due to DS1 at Uni, we have to look at end of June - mid August ( incase of resits last two weeks of Aug) plus DS2 who finishes 6th form and may decide to do Uni. Would love to do end of August/ beginning Sept ( which I haven't ruled out) but what are prices/crowds/ weather like end of June for 2 weeks? Thinking before UK schools finish.

We are useless with the heat but I've got to the point I don't care ....... I just want to go back for a last family holiday.

We are limited to similar dates due to the Scottish school holidays. We are looking to go out 7th July and come back 28th July (3 weeks).

We went on honeymoon back in 94 for 2 weeks at a similar time. If you do a bit of planning, then the crowds aren't too bad. We didn't plan one day we went to Universal (because the crowds didn't seem too bad) and got burnt big time. I guess the touring plans work!

I have subscribed to the Touring Plans site, and that is predicting lower crowds for the last 2 weeks of July compared to the first 2 weeks. I suggest trying to avoid the 4th July period. I also find flying out from the UK beginning of July is a bit cheaper because the English schools haven't broken up at that point (schools in Scotland finish 2 weeks earlier).

Don't worry about the heat - we aren't good with heat either, but you soon get acclimatised.
