Summer 2007

Happy New Year everyone!

I know is only Jan 2007 now but I am already looking forward to my trip in July. I just can't contain my excitements and hope some of you here could give me some info regarding the summer events at DLP.

I will be there from the 11th till the 16th of July and know that their official summer events begin on the 14th. So, we are hoping to see the Bastilles +fantillusion on the 14th and wishes on the 15th. Does anyone knows if the park has ever canceled the bastilles, wishes or fantillusion parade during the summer for any reasons?? It will be really gutted for us if we miss any of these shows because the main reason of us visiting the park is to see these shows. We can only visit the DLP before the 16th July due to work. So, we are keeping our fingers crossed that these events will run smoothly this year on the first few days. I knew that the bastilles for 2006 had some problems: apparently some of the fireworks didn't work?!

Also, does the park has any special events before the 14th of july? i am assuming there will just be the daily 15th anniversary parade before the 14th.

I haven't made reservations yet but I am thinking of going to DLP in mid- to late-July.
I would appreciate any information that becomes available in the next few months.
My dates are either sometime between July 19-25, 2007 or July 26-August 1, 2007.

As Bastilles is a holiday in France I'd prepare for the parks to be busy.

We have went later in July and enjoyed all the shows

Does anyone knows if the park has ever canceled the bastilles, wishes or fantillusion parade during the summer for any reasons??

I think these would only be cancelled if weather conditions were very extreme. We had torrential rain last summer and the parades still went ahead. I think they were delayed slightly although I have a feeling Wishes may have been cancelled. Sorry I can't remember for sure but we weren't planning on watching it that night so didn't really pay much attention.
