Summary guide to RCI?

As it looks like we may struggle to use some previously banked DVC points, being trapped here in the UK at the moment, I've started looking into options...

Is there a simple summary guide to using the RCI option anywhere?

To be honest, I can't even remember if it is an option for us, as we bought resale about 5 years ago, not sure if this was an option that was grandfathered in or not?

Everyone can use RCI. It's available to all owners, whether they purchased directly or via resale.

The only info I know regarding RCI is found on the Member's Website.
