Hi all - first WDW trip coming up in February and I'm super pumped!
I was hoping you all might be able to provide some insight, I've Googled and come up empty.
I have a pretty severe allergy to sulfur - not sulfa drugs, actual sulfur dioxide. I cannot eat dried fruit, grapes treated with sulfur, or drink wine for example. I've also found out the hard way that I also cannot be around backyard fireworks though public fireworks displays don't bother me but I'm also far away from the ignition source. All of these things result in me having what feels like an asthma attack and I've blacked out before. If I use certain (most) shampoos I also experience some pretty good skin peeling and blisters.
Obviously I'd like to avoid that while on my first WDW trip! Does anyone know just how bad the water is? Should I avoid drinking filtered water or ice? Do I need to rinse my hair and body with distilled water after showering or have my hair braided before the trip? What about avoiding rides like Splash or Kali where I could get wet? I've checked with my Doctor who is just not sure how bad the water really is and can't accurately advise me. Thanks in advance for your guidance, I'm starting to get a bit nervous that I'll be covered in blisters or in the ER the whole time.
