Suites that sleep 5

We are also a family of 5 and platinum. Alas, we are forced to stay at the Portofino if we want our suite upgrade We have learned to love it

Ask for the Villa Suite. If they are not all reserved by actual paying guests, the Portofino is very generous in upgrading their platinum guests to them. Our last several stays have been upgraded to the Villa Suite.

I tried for the upgrade for 4/18 - 4/21, but was told that no suites were available. Do they check for Villa Suites by default or just the Portofino Suite? Should I request tha they look for a Villa Suite as well next time I call?

The upgrade is for portofino suites. I guess it wouldnt hurt to ask tho. I would keep calling, it doesnt seem like that time should be full, since its after spring break.

I've called every other day for 2 weeks - still not available. I find it strange as well.

Your dates fall out on Passover and Spring recess. Our schools are closed that whole week. Cant hurt to keep trying. Hope you get lucky.
